Our client is looking for a Robotics Sales Engineer to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in robotics or industrial automation.

The successful candidate will have the chance to join an international group with a successful global work force in the thousands. You will have full responsibility and accountability for sales and growth within the allocated geographic area.

 Key Responsibilities:

Duties include but are not limited to –

  • Responsible for the maintenance and development of sales activity associated with general industry in the defined geographic area.
  • Establish initial identification, technical specification and development of robotic opportunities within Customers, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM’s), End Users (EU’s) and Systems Integrators (SI’s).
  • Formulate and implement a development plan for the allocated geographic area.
  • Achieve Sales targets as agreed with the Robotic Divisional Manager.
  • Sell and promote the full range of company products.
  • Ensure that all opportunities and initial technical specifications are processed efficiently; making sure these are followed up in a timely manner.
  • Update all Sales activities in the Company CRM system in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Conduct regular market research including analysis of both Customers and Competitors to ensure an up-to-date awareness of the market
  • Attend relevant Industry Trade Shows/Conferences when required.
  • Attend and participate in Sales and Divisional Meetings
  • Actively coordinate with other UK Divisions (FCS & ECS)

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience of selling capital goods ideally within the automation technology, control technology or robotics industries.
  • Solid technical understanding in the field of robotics or industrial automation.
  • An existing network of contacts within industry EU’s, OEM’s and SI’s with an understanding of their push, pull and pain points are.
  • Previous experience of working with a CRM system.
  • Team player with the ability to work autonomously using their own initiative.
  • Driven and dynamic individual.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
