Key Responsibilities:
Duties include but are not limited to –
- Responsible for the maintenance and development of sales activity associated with general industry in the defined geographic area.
- Establish initial identification, technical specification and development of robotic opportunities within Customers, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM’s), End Users (EU’s) and Systems Integrators (SI’s).
- Formulate and implement a development plan for the allocated geographic area.
- Achieve Sales targets as agreed with the Robotic Divisional Manager.
- Sell and promote the full range of company products.
- Ensure that all opportunities and initial technical specifications are processed efficiently; making sure these are followed up in a timely manner.
- Update all Sales activities in the Company CRM system in a timely and accurate manner.
- Conduct regular market research including analysis of both Customers and Competitors to ensure an up-to-date awareness of the market
- Attend relevant Industry Trade Shows/Conferences when required.
- Attend and participate in Sales and Divisional Meetings
- Actively coordinate with other UK Divisions (FCS & ECS)
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience of selling capital goods ideally within the automation technology, control technology or robotics industries.
- Solid technical understanding in the field of robotics or industrial automation.
- An existing network of contacts within industry EU’s, OEM’s and SI’s with an understanding of their push, pull and pain points are.
- Previous experience of working with a CRM system.
- Team player with the ability to work autonomously using their own initiative.
- Driven and dynamic individual.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
