Sales Executive


A leading supplier of quality lifting and material handling equipment are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Sales Executive to join their team. Headquartered in Stourbridge with business continuing to rapidly grow customer satisfaction is a key to the company’s growth. Supplying quality equipment throughout the world via various online and digital platforms are core activities of the business.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a hands-on experience of the internal sales processes whilst building a sound understanding of customer service and product knowledge. Challenges and deadlines will be an everyday part of the job, so organisation and a positive attitude in the workplace is essential.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Processing sales orders resolving order issues checking stock and out of order stock items action
  • Liaise with all departments to and raise customer issues
  • Liaison with suppliers and haulers
  • Support Customers of Manufactured products
  • Point of contact for key customers
  • Update and maintain the CRM & ERP Systems with accurate details
  • Develop and maintain a close working liaison with sales service support teams
  • Very proactive on phones Telesales and email sales hitting targets
  • Sales of multiple products
  • Working and supporting Account managers
  • Working to KPI’s in respect of quotations orders being closed
  • Managing sales quotations pricing and correct account margins set for each customer
  • Review status of sales orders daily to ensure they are auctioned and acknowledged
  • Provide technical product assistance
  • Work with the team to gain support with closing quotes
  • Handling incoming volume calls daily
  • Support allocated customers


Candidate Profile:

  • Ambition and desire to overachieve targets
  • Strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills
  • Advanced user in Microsoft Excel
  • 5+ years working in a customer facing environment
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
