As a result of significant potential growth in the UK and Export markets of the businesses unique set of products it is clear a restructure of the sales business is needed to deliver exceptional results.

We are looking for a Senior Sales Manager to oversee both external and internal sales teams, motivating and leading both teams into success.

The successful candidate will have responsibility to the Head of Sales for delivery of pipeline, production and processing of quotes and achieving order targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage UK external Sales Team (x4) to achieve sales target for the UK.
  • Manage Internal Sales Team (x3) to ensure quotation and technical support effective for both the UK and Export documentation
  • Set goals and targets for all sales staff that ensures the Company achieves its sales and growth target.
  • Ensure all sales staff are competent and trained to undertake the roles they are assigned, both from a product, sales and safety perspective.
  • Ability to produce detailed quotes for orders with a potential of up to £50k
  • Create a robust proactive telephone contact process that generates visits for the External Sales Engineers to undertake.
  • Provide reporting on pipeline, quotes and issues
  • Manage expenses for Sales Team
  • Work with Technical Support teams to ensure all electrical panel, flanges plates and installation quotes and orders are correct and accurate before they are passed to Order Processing and Production.
  • Ensure quotes are processed and sent to the customer within ISO procedures and within customer expectations.

Experience & Skills

  • 5 years + sales management experience with technical products.
  • Significant and demonstrable track record of winning new business, results-focused, meets or exceeds the quota
  • Strong abilities in targeted prospecting, opportunistic networking, and consultative selling
  • Supervisory Experience, Team Leadership, Experience Training Team Members – required
  • Ability to adapt, create and customize sales materials and presentations for clients’ comfort and familiarity with online presentations.
  • Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills
  • The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a positive demeanour and a ‘can-do’ attitude.
