A successful Industrial supplies company are looking for an Compressor Sales Lead to join their rapidly growing business. The ongoing expansion and exciting development of the business has opened an opportunity for a professional and proactive individual to join a great team.

As Area Sales Manager you will manage and develop all accounts within your given sales area to achieve all agreed targets. The ideal candidate will be a proactive thinker, consistently self-sufficient, and determined to take their career to the next level.

The purpose of this position is to lead the sales development of the company’s compressor range across several prestigious brands. Already a well established and successful product range, we need someone that can continue the development and really drive sales across the UK

Duties & Responsibilities:

Management of the sales department:

  • Achievement of sales targets.
  • Marketing, merchandising and promotional activity.
  • Customer development initiatives.
  • Prospecting for new business and account development.

Management of the Compressed Air Sales Development Lead:

  • Identifying opportunities to sell compressed air products.
  • Developing distribution through recognized compressed air channels.
  • Generating specified business to pass onto nominated distributors
  • Working with high pressure distributors to drive sales of and business into growth.
  • Visit compressor distributors to sell.
  • Support the creation of quotes for compressors.
  • Work with the Internal Sales Outbound team to follow up on generated leads.
  • Travel throughout the UK and ROI to achieve the required outcomes.
  • Travel to Italy for specialist training and updates.

Candidate Profile:

  • High level of Compressors and compressed air knowledge
  • Willingness to take ownership of a product range and continue the success/development
  • Determined to succeed and adopt the high level of expectation established by the Company
  • Committed to achieve only the very highest standards of performance.
  • Flexible working approach to accommodate various duties.
