We’re searching for an experienced sales professional from a business development background, to join a leading provider of engineering innovations and power tools experiencing rapid growth.

As a Business Development Executive you’ll look to drive growth by securing new customers and exploiting new opportunities within your defined market space. As the business strives for growth in the Assembly Solutions Market, and the Material Removal & Service space, your key focus sectors will include Motor Vehicle, Off Road, Aerospace and Integrators.

Key Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Develop and execute an annual Business Development plan for your targeted market sectors in your area
  • Input to and execute an agreed prospecting strategy for key accounts
  • Implement both telelsales and digital activities to engage new customers
  • Complete the sales process with house accounts post quotation to grow the wallet share of these customers
  • Establish relationships with prospects, arranging face to face appointments for the Business Development Team
  • Identify critical customer needs and match the company’s value proposition to customers’ individual problems
  • Take a strategic approach to targeting and developing potential new customers
  • Proactively engage the wider Sales Team to promote profitable collaboration wherever possible
  • Create an effective communication channel with the Marketing team, sharing knowledge to improve marketing collateral
  • Collect and analyse results, producing quarterly business reviews to undertake corrective actions and share insights

Skills & Experience

  • Business Development background in B2B, within an Industrial Sector focussed on End Users
  • Solutions Sales and Product Sales Experience
  • CRM, Consulting and Selling Skills
  • Highly motivated self-starter capable of understanding production/engineering issues
  • Demonstrated track record in problem solving in industrial markets
  • Ability to engage all levels of the organisation with credibility
  • Excellent interpersonal, networking & communication skills
  • Results oriented, with track record of performance delivery
