CMM Programmer

Our Principal Consultant Robin Thomas, is looking for a CMM programmer to join one of the UK’s most respected precision engineering companies.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need previous experience working as a CMM programmer, and be a well organised individual with a high attention to detail.

Key Duties & Responsibilities 

• Generate CMM Programmes (Offline and Online, with/without CAD) and reports for new and existing part numbers
• Verify CMM reports by manual means where applicable
• Manual/Visual inspection in occurrence CMM is unsuitable
• Liaise with Management/ Machine shop operative regarding product status
• Aid in problem/solution identification
• Operate CMM and interpret results
• Liaise with Customers where applicable
• Create FAI reports
• Retain reports where applicable
• Maintain traceability throughout
• Set Priority’s with Management
• Producing Certificate of Conformity
• Visual/Manual Inspection
• Documentation Control
• Ensure traceability requirements have been adhered to
