Electrical Production Engineer

Our Principal Consultant Robin Thomas, is looking for an Electrical Production Engineer to join a leading manufacturer of agricultural machinery.

Experience in electrics or automotive electronics is required, and of a willingness to learn and develop. This Electrical Production Engineer role represents a long term, progressive career opportunity, not for job hoppers!

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Install cabling during the first stage of assembly
• Assemble electrical panels according to machine specification
• Creation or modification of simple cable assemblies
• Build all machines from start to finish, working with schematics, covering all electrical wiring requirements

This role has significant scope for development, you will also be able to design, modify, and fit complex cable assemblies between various control units which control the functions of our machinery, specifying the correct equipment if necessary.

Each machine is bespoke to the customer which means that the electrical system of each system will be different.

Role Details & Benefits

• Monday–Thursday 07:30–16:00 with overtime possible to 18:00
• Friday 07:30–15:00 with overtime possible to 17:30
• Overtime is paid at time and a half and is encouraged where possible
• Factory shutdown at Christmas
• Pension contribution and 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
• Starting hourly wage will be dependent on experience
