Electronic Assembler

We’re looking for someone familiar with electronic components that is able to interpret basic electronic schematics to join a stand out solutions provider in the Oil & Energy sector.

As an Electronic Assembler you’ll work as part of the Production team and be involved in the development, assembly, testing, and servicing of electronic products and ancillary equipment.

Electronic Assembler Key Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Manufacture, service, test and calibrate company products and assemblies
  • Assemble and test R&D tools and assemblies
  • Maintain accurate build and maintenance records
  • Maintain the electronic workshop, stocking of consumables and promote good housekeeping
  • Encourage and actively participate in continual process improvement
  • Attend training courses as requested by the company
  • Maintain a high standard of personal safety in the workplace observing all company health and safety requirements

Skills & Experience

  • Ideally qualified to NC level or equivalent in electronics
  • Previous experience assembling electronic tools
  • Ability to interpret basic electronic schematics and assembly drawings
  • Experience of soldering electronic components on to Printed Circuit Boards and cable assemblies
  • Able to identify electronic components

If you’re succesful in progressing to the interview stage, when meeting with the company, you’ll be asked to interpret electronic schematics, pass a soldering test and demonstrate that you can identify electronic components.
