Electronic Technician

We’re looking for a qualified and knowledgable Electronic Technician, educated to HNC level or above, to join a stand out solutions provider in the Oil & Energy sector.

As an Electronic technician, you’ll be involved in the assembly, testing, and repair of a broad range of electronics required for the development of downhole electronic tools.

Skills & Experience

Essential

• Electronic knowledge down to component level
• Able to understand electronic schematics for PCBs
• Experience of repairing or assembling PCBs
• Able to debug circuits at resistor, capacitor, transistor and IC level
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with standard computer applications
• Qualified to HNC level, or above

Desirable 

• Repair and test of analogue and digital electronics
• Experience with high temperature electronics
• Experience in the oil and gas sector
• Basic software/programming skills
