Fabricator

We’re seeking a hands on, technical profesisonal who applies a high attention for detail to their work, to join a leading manufacturer and supplier of specialist fittings to the industrial hose and pipe sector. As a fabricator, you’ll play a pivotal role in the company as fabrication accounts for between 45-50% of the company’s customer base.

Full time position | Monday – Friday 08.00 – 17.00 | Eligible for company bonus  

Industry knowledge is desirable however, full training will be given so applicants without experience will be considered should they possess stand out qualities for this position.

Key Duties & Responsibilities 

• Reading and understanding technical drawings
• Cutting tube to size
• Picking and preparing parts
• Readying materials to send to the welders
• Occasional work in between and after welding/galvanising (drilling holes etc)
• Placing purchase orders & contacting the welders

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

• Forklift license is desirable
• Industry knowledge also desirable
