Field Service Engineer

We’re looking for Service Engineers with relevant experience to join a premium and established supplier of air compressors, refrigerant dryers, gas generators, and pipework.

As a Field Service Engineer your goal it to contribute to the profitability of the company’s business by providing a professional and efficient service working with air compressors & ancillary equipment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities 

• Promptly carry out servicing and maintenance on customer machines
• Effectively diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on customer equipment (field and workshop based)
• Carry out PDI and commissioning of new equipment
• Carry out installs of new equipment and pipework
• Identify required parts to effect repairs
• Complete job reports correctly and return in a timely manner
• Plan and organise daily and weekly visit schedules when required
• Maintain test instruments, ensuring they remain in good condition

Skills & Experience 

• Experience repairing and servicing at least some of either Compressors, Dryers, or N2 Systems Pumps
• Good knowledge of the compressor industry
• Self-motivated to work effectively both individually and as part of a team
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• PC literate
• Clean and full UK driving licence
