As a pivotal part of the onsite team, you will ensure all customers are supported and strong relationships with suppliers are maintained. The ideal candidate will be from a manufacturing/MRO/PPE background, have excellent customer service skills and a self-motivated and positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the growth and development of our business by delivering customer service that exceeds expectations
- Making outbound calls in line with company campaigns
- Preparing and submitting timely quotes via email, telephone, or hard copy
- Proactively following up on customer enquiries to generate and build profitable orders
- Developing and maintaining fruitful relationships with existing and potential customers
- Tracking, progressing and chasing incoming product orders
- Carrying out a variety of administrative tasks, including entering sales orders onto our system and maintaining a customer database
- Playing your part in face-to-face customer visits as required
Skills & Experience:
- Proven customer service experience and ideally a background in Engineering, Distribution/MRO
- Proficiency in using office IT applications such as Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A high degree of accuracy and excellent attention to detail
- A good standard of personal presentation
