We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic Sales Professionals who have experience in the Industrial Sector. We have a great remote working opportunity to join an industry pioneer in chemical etching, that serve the world’s most innovative and high tech companies across automotive, medical, renewable energy, and food & beverage.

As an International Account Manager, you’ll be primarily focused on business development, responsible for both maximising sales with new customers, as well as account management for a number of existing Global Customers. Engineering and/or electronics experience would be considered very advantageous for this role.

Key Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Focus on new business development to grow sales and achieve business revenue goals, whilst simultaneously managing a portfolio of existing customers
  • Use a consultative selling approach to recommend company products, services and solutions to established and prospective customers
  • Develop a personal business plan to be approved by management to ensure you meet your personal annual goals
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with customers, evaluating their needs in order to provide solutions that meet and exceed their expectations
  • Liaise with estimators to produce accurate and competitive quotes
  • Maintain a strong level of product and technology knowledge
  • Resolve customer issues in a manner that is consistent with company values and financial objectives
  • Attend and actively contribute to sales meetings to provide status of ongoing and future projects
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with the customer
  • Provide pre-sales technical expertise and product education to new and existing customers
  • Follow up quotations in a timely manner to secure profitable orders
  • Offer after sales service and support to develop and grow long term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Work closely with application engineering to develop the best technical solution for the customers requirement
  • Prepare pricing and sales reports to contribute to the overall business strategy
  • Accurately log all customer sales enquiries into CRM Software
  • Work with Customer Service proactively progress orders to completion

Essential Skills & Experience 

  • ‘A Level’ or equivalent standard of education
  • Fluent in English and excellent communication skills
  • Experience within the Industrial Sector
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Good logical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritise workload
  • Experience in account and project management
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Software
  • Experience of engineering and/or electronics industry is advantageous
  • Bachelor’s Degree is desirable (preferably Engineering, Business, or Marketing)
  • Remote working, but must be willing to occasionally attend office in Weymouth for customer visits and sales meetings
