Marketing Manager


A dynamic and forward-thinking business looking for a skilled Marketing Manager to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will be a broad marketer and strategic thinker to organically drive forward the brand, generate market leads and help obtain new service opportunities in new and existing customers.

The business has seen rapid growth in recent years, leading to a doubling of revenue since 2016, and a significant increase in head count and locations. With 50 employees across 4 locations in the UK, this growth has been a result of business diversification into new markets, product offerings and technical development.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Striving for 100% retention and organic growth in the UK market across several sectors such as General Industry, Off Road, Automotive and Aerospace. This position will drive the marketing activities that will facilitate this growth through an active involvement in Marketing Execution.
  • Establish marketing goals based on past performance and market forecasts
  • Research and analyse market trends, demographics, pricing schedules, competitor products, and other relevant information to form marketing strategies
  • Work with the Sales Director to develop detailed marketing plans for all media channels and sales teams
  • Approve and oversee the creative development of promotional materials, website content, advertisements, and other marketing-related projects
  • Work within the department budget to develop cost-effective marketing plans for each product or service
  • Track all marketing and sales data and creates detailed written reports and verbal presentations to bring to senior executives
  • Adjust marketing campaigns and strategies as needed in response to collected data and other feedback
  • Lead and manage marketing agencies by providing tasks, objectives, strategies, and projects
  • Manage the marketing department budget and use financial strategy to advise all marketing plans
  • Oversees the production of all marketing materials, including printed documents, media advertising spots, website content, and social media accounts
  • Regularly report to the Sales Director to receive information and updates about business objectives and results
  • Evaluate marketing reports and sales data
  • Present regular updates and information to other department heads and executives
  • Works with executives to incorporate marketing needs into overall company planning and strategy
  • Monitor competitor activity and brainstorms potential improvements or changes in marketing strategy, products, or services
  • Organise and attend company-wide and marketing events
  • Travel to meet clients and attend conferences, trade shows, industry events, and seminars
