Senior Wastewater Equipment Service Engineer

As a Waste Water Equipment Engineer, you will travel to a range of commercial and private sites to carry out both routine maintenance and repair work to off mains drainage systems.

You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of a company service vehicle.

Key Duties & Responsibilities 

• Maintain outstanding customer service and satisfaction
• Maintain excellent relationships with colleagues, customers and partners
• Carry out services of sewage treatment systems, pumping stations, oil separators, stormwater pumps and other waste water equipment in accordance with manufacturers recommendations and the company’s own inspection processes
• Investigate, diagnose and repair faults and breakdowns of off-mains sewage systems
• Follow company “on site” safety procedures and always raise any concerns
• Complete all paperwork and/or electronic records of each individual job prior to leaving the site
• Regularly update the stock list to maintain a sustainable level of tools, spare parts and consumables in the company service vehicle
• Be aware of and follow all company wide policies and procedures set out in our handbook and
  intranet site
• Raise your hand to flag up any concerns you have about your role and workload

Skills & Experience 

• 2 years experience in wastewater equipment industry
• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Minimum level 2 confined space training
• DBS Certificate
• Basic software and computer skills including competency on Job Logic
• Leadership skills
• Positive “Can Do” attitude
• Must be able to perform job duties independently as well as a team player
• Strong organisational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to think outside the box
