We’re looking for a self-motivated and results focused sales professional with field experience in the Pharma/Biopharma industry, to join an internationally leading brand in motion and control technologies.

As a System Sales Specialist, your primary purpose is to develop sales of company Bioscience Filtration Automated Systems & Single Use Manifold Assemblies to key Biopharma customers across EMEA, with existing and new direct accounts.

The System Sales Specialist will be home based, regularly connecting with the company’s local Sales team and manufacturing facility, leading activities both directly and in support of the EMEA Sales Team. The role will require travel and nights away from home.

Key Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Identify, support and convert opportunities of BioPharma Automated Systems at customer level to grow the company’s number of units operating in BioPharmaceutical EMEA
  • Position, present and demonstrate the company’s automated system value proposition and consumable technologies within customers’ process development and manufacturing groups. This is achieved by one-on-one meetings, technology seminars and/or technology demonstrations using Digital Tools where appropriate
  • Work with the Biopharma EMEA sales team and the company’s Bioscience divisional support teams to deliver agreed growth strategy and marketing plans
  • Maintain a high degree of technical expertise through product and application knowledge
  • Generate sales action plans to grow new and existing strategic accounts
  • Coordinate pre-sales project-related activities with all relevant parties on critical projects to successfully close sales opportunities & show verifiable outcomes by sales stage using the company’s CRM system
  • Establish professional customer/supplier relationships with key personnel in the Biopharm markets to successfully promote company technologies & capabilities

Skills & Experience

  • University Degree in Life Sciences / Biotechnology and/or related related Mechanical/Chemical Engineering
  • Significant Field sales experience with Pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry with application knowledge, promoting filtration, Automation, fluid management solutions & single use technologies
  • Demonstrable experience creating and delivering technical presentations, customer relationship management, written customer correspondence, and technical sales
  • Proven expertise in hardware system sales and related consumables for Filtration and Fluid Transfer in the Biologics Manufacturing Industry
  • Proven experience working with cross functional teams, customer relationship at all levels of an organisation
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, service oriented and result focused team player
  • PC literacy and Digital Tools such as Teams & Zoom is essential
  • Fluency in English is essential in an international environment
